Okay so I was talking to my grandmother and we were discussing her getting her learners permit. Now the boring part is why she needs a learners permit in the first place. Well from what I've heard from other adults who already have full licenses, when the time comes the DMV sets up your renewal date to be on your birthday. Well at the time my grandmother was in the hospital on her birthday so she missed that chance then. Plus she did not notice that her license was expired until I told her to look at it for me. That was like the middle of January.
Then she came up with the conclusion she needed to take the learners permit knowledge test. I said well first because your over 70 you have to get your doctor to sign it saying that your health condition is well enough to drive. She thought she could do that with ease, I did not. She got the signature though, now she has to take the knowledge test then the road test. I personally don't think she is gone to pass the knowledge test, especially since I don't think she has been studying, like she should have.
I also have been trying to go, but I was kind of waiting for her but just this week I decided that I would go early Saturday morning around 7:30 because the place opens at 8:15. I don't think she will come with me(which is fine by me) but she will be mad that I went by myself and she has to wait for someone to take her. I plan to go with a group of friends, or if that doesn't turn out I dont mind having to go alone, as long as i get it done it doesn't even matter to me. i have been studying like crazy and i took the MVA tutorial online at least 4 times and each time i got a 17/20 so I hope that with the DC test it is just like that score, that i can get more than a 25/30. WISH ME LUCK!!!
