Okay so I'm reading this article and already they are talking about how the President of Egypt has ordered an "overnight curfew". How does a person enforce an overnight curfew? If it is over night then it is not really over night. All things done to try to prevent such violence in the streets of different parts of Egypt. Just from the first few paragraphs I can already see that some of the ways that the government has tried to stop and slow down the violence that comes from the protest were the same ways they tried to stop black students from protesting during the Civil Rights Movement. It seems as though with all the violence that was going on it was not to be a violent-free event. When there are police officers just beating up protesters then it becomes a matter safety for the people involved and even though the President of Egypt had hopes in silencing the violence happening in his country it seemed as though most of the people were saying "down with the president". With the end of the article reading saying that they just cut off the services of the internet an phones to stop people from organizing and meeting for protest, but if you ask me people who are very passionate about getting there opinion out and their voice heard will go back to the means before the internet and the cellphones came out and just shout in the streets and "go tell it on the mountain." LOL
Can you believe that the internet just died? Not here though, over in Egypt. Early Friday morning of January 28 2011 Egypt's president told all internet companies that server Egypt to cut off internet service and cellphone providers to pause services in different parts of the country. Reporters say that this big a catastrophe could an probably would never happen in the United States, mainly because we live on the internet and that there are so many ways for us to connect to the internet that it probably would not work anyway.

Its Me!!
I am Dream, but if you would like a deeper meaning I am short, dark skin, African-American and a senior in high school. But of course those are just the basics. being a girl one would think i was interested in girly things such as fashion and shoes and such, and don't get me wrong i am , but just not like that the main thing that could faze me the most..... is well ME!!! don't get me wrong i have other interest to such as religion and some history type things and questions of the past that it seems only a higher power could answer. Out of blogging i hope to get some relief i would think since with the personal blog that we have to do seems like a venting process that could help me out just wit emotions (not to personal) and my own view points on life and school. I initially had planned to write about life quotes and love quotes but now I might write about slightly more important things.
